About
A Grade

Joe and Jackie have found in their travels that some of the best coffee and beer experiences in the world can be enjoyed at local roasters and breweries. These unique businesses produce goods as fresh as they come, and as such, offer communities near and far amazing flavors that stand out proudly compared to the average brand name stuff.

Based on their own service experiences, friends/family within the industry, and their endless zeal for grading things, Joe and Jackie decided to search for the best roasters and breweries in America. They set out in the summer of 2021 across the country, exploring dozens of such establishments: from Indianapolis to Spokane, and tons of places in-between.

When Joe isn’t grading college papers and Jackie isn’t grading middle school essays, the pair hit the road, trying new locations to discuss on their weekly podcast, “A Grade”. Will this week’s review be of a coffee roaster? A brewery? Tune in wherever you listen to podcasts every Monday at 9am EST to find out!
