Review: Porter by Clifford Brewing Co.

Clifford Brewing Co. is a young brewery that opened its doors in 2015 in Hamilton, Ontario.

Their Porter is their flagship beer and is great with hearty meat dishes and best served on cool days (and nights).

There’s a lovely mix of chocolate and coffee notes on the taste palette, which is complemented by a nice malt finish.

I would drink this on cooler days and highly recommend porters for fall, winter, and cool spring days. This could also make a great after dinner beer to savour by the fire at a cabin in the woods.

The Clifford Porter is available at the Brewery in Hamilton, LCBO stores in cans, and on tap at finer bars that carry craft beers in South and Southwestern Ontario.

Once the weather cools in the fall, I highly recommend giving this beer a try.
