This beer is successful as a lighter pale ale, and the various citrus notes are delicious, however overall I find the beer to be somewhat bland and forgettable.
The Riverside Pilsner by Saulter St. Brewery is versatile, pairing well a variety of pub favourites on the food menu and great sipping on the patio.
Who said an IPA can only be pale? The Nekyia black IPA is something I would reach for in a heartbeat if I want to try something just a bit off the beaten path.
