Maybe one day I’ll try something other than a juicy or hoppy (or both) beer in the tub. Today was not that day. There are too many to choose from. This time I grabbed a few of the SingleCuts that The Foodery had available right now. You can never go wrong with a SingleCut IPA.

THIS IS AN IPA that takes a building in a manner that our 420 fore-fathers were very used to – Herbal dank resin galore intertwined with a liberal helping of pineapple / stone fruit and mild spice / citrus finish. Smooth, soft malt won’t put a bustle in your hedgerow, so don’t be alarmed now.

Hazy golden-yellow, with a luxurious white head that lingers, leaving behind cobwebs of lacing. Pure nectar of the Gods, deep aromas of apricot, grapefruit and oranges rise from the glass.

The taste was banana… no, I kid – the flavor was just the same as the nose, and I have no problem with that. Grapefruit bitterness, gorgeous hop flavor, and an incredible spiciness in the finish.

Medium carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel, I could drink this all night long. In the vast sea of awesome IPAs, this is a spectacular standout.
