First Impressions

Coffee roasters come in all shapes and sizes. And so when you pull up to an otherwise unassuming strip mall on the outskirts of a small city, what can you expect? What should you hope for? Well, Fundati Coffee in Lincoln Rhode Island sets a new bar — figuratively, and literally — with their beautiful their next-level atmosphere, vibes, and pour over coffee counter.

Enjoy an epic latte or an equally epic pour over coffee bar!

In addition to featuring expertly roasted beans, one of the greatest benefits of visiting a coffee roaster over a run-of-the-mill café is the connection that the staff can foster between their coffee and the consumer. At Fundati, you’ll get both. Greeted and treated by remarkable baristas, you will not be disappointed by a service experience that quite simply belongs in an “A” grade league of its own.

Comforting, warm, and welcoming, Fundati’s vibe is one that invites new and returning coffee fans alike. Locals should be particularly proud — if you live anywhere near the area, consider this roaster for your next caffeine fuel up. And if you’re from out of town and want to see how a local roaster should be run, put Fundati on your short list.

But What About the Coffee?

Jackie’s Drink

While coffee roasters often stand out as the best places around for an Americano or an espresso shot, just as impressive can be a well-crafted latte. The key is to blend a balanced formula of espresso, steamed milk, and flavored adjuncts. At Fundati, you have some wonderful options for your drink. Perhaps our favorite specialty brew is the Lavender Honey Latte. Come thirsty, and be prepared to have to choose among several equally amazing sounding specialty drinks.

Joe’s Drink

No idea what a pour over coffee is? No problem! The beauty of an up-and-front pour over coffee bar is that you get to view the brewing process right before your eyes. Not only that, but your barista will walk you through the process — culminating in a steamy cup of fresh coffee unlike any drip brew you’ll find at a regular everyday café.

In the case of our pour over at Fundati, we loved the first one so much, we ended up trying the other two options! Whether you choose the light, medium, or dark roasted brews, you’ll enjoy a unique flavor profile for each.
